Yeah I am coming back soon. Will come back on 27th Sept 2008 - SQ 815. Departing Shanghai at 0800 Hrs and reaching Singapore at 1300 Hrs. Should be back for at least 2 weeks. =)

Interesting May

Well, it has been an interesting month. I am a survivor of the Sichuan Earthquake and I managed to witness the Olympics Torch Relay in Shanghai. Laugh!

Everyone in Lujiazui ran down from their offices after the earthquake occured. Should have taken the opportunity to distribute my namecards to all my potential employer. =P

The whole event is very exaggerated. It took them a few hours to get prepared.
They mobilised so many police - busloads of them. And these policemen were standing almost shoulder to shoulder along the road. Following that, the relay 'runners' arrived in a bus. 3 runners would alight from the bus first and lit up the torch. The bus would continue going forward and drop the rest of the runners further down theroad.

These 3 runners would then run about 20 meters and then pass the torch to the other group which were waiting in front. This group would then run another 20 meters to pass the torch to another group which is waiting further down the road. 20 meters! Can you believe?! Laugh. Seriously, its damn cock.

Been very busy lately. Did not have the time to blog and write about stuffs. But for those who are still reading my blog - Yes, I am still alive!! Thanks for your concern.

My dear came to visit me while I was in Shanghai and I took leave to accompany her. But then, the emails and phone calls never stop coming even though I was on leave. Hence, I did have as much time for my dear as I wanted to. Thankfully, my darling is a very understanding girlfriend and she did not complain at all. Thanks darling =)

We travelled around, had fun and we came back together on the Chinese New Year's eve.

So far, I have been busy meeting up with my friends for lunch and dinner. It's been a fruitful trip. Lost my way somehow when I was in Shanghai and this trip back to Singapore has allowed me to rediscover myself. I will be going back soon on 18th Feb and it will be a while before I am back in Singapore again.

Not in the mood for writing and hence, I shall let the pictures below do the talking =)
